Party numero two from last weekend was a super fun theme that required a little more than the typical brainstorming session. I was only passingly familiar with the Plants vs. Zombies game so creating decor and other party elements proved an unique challenge. So what’s a girl to do? Download a sample of the game and get to playin’ of course! I have to admit that the hour trial wasn’t enough. I had so much fun!
The mama that hired me to help with her boys’ is a very creative friend of mine and I love all the crafty flare we were able to bring together. I’m just sad that we were unable to attend this awesome party! Here are a few fun shares from their day:
Fun table set-up! Happy Birthday Tablecloth embellished with felt.
This was a challenge! Hand-drawn Peashooter Centerpiece made from felt with details created by hand using fabric paint.
Green fabric and twine bunting
The Zombies are coming! The half birthday boys rocking their zombie cone hats for Team Zombie!
One weekend, two parties. Phew! That was a lot of work but so very much fun. On Saturday, a very special little girl celebrated her 3rd birthday. Lil’ Miss Alana has been through a great deal of health issues in her short life but she is the brightest sunshine to all who are near her. It was a tremendous privilege to be asked to create decor for her big day. This theme thrilled me because I sang this song to my little girl when she was a baby (and even now), plus her upcoming ballet recital routine is to this sweet song.
